CLEO is a concept for AR workout glasses that use computer vision to count sets and reps, read heart rate and log every lift, while a minimalist HUD shows only reps, heart rate and rest time. The project spans product renders, an exploded-view film, first-person HUD views, a companion app and a waitlist landing page I built in Next.js.

Maybe you want to train harder. Maybe you want to see real progress. Or maybe you’re just tired of guessing whether your workouts are working. However you train, how you track it can make all the difference.

CLEO is a concept for AR glasses that let you focus on the workout while they track every rep, set and stat for you.

01Tracking

Manual workout tracking is dead.

CLEO uses computer vision to count your sets, monitor your heart rate and log every rep the moment it happens.

A minimalist HUD shows only what matters: reps, heart rate, rest time. No spreadsheets. No phone. No distractions.

02What you see

One HUD for every lift.

The landing page walks through four first-person views: bench press, squat, seated cable row and bicep curls.

Each uses the same thin cyan layout — heart rate and a rest-timer ring on the left; the rep count, rep state and set progress on the right; the exercise name floating above.

04Hardware

Feels like nothing. Works like everything.

Five key components, as specified for the concept:

A — Ultra-wide HD lens. A 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera for panoramic photos and video.

B — UI navigation. A finely crafted stainless-steel knob for moving through the interface.

C — Li-ion battery. A custom 1200 mAh cell with USB-C fast charging.

D — Neural processor. A custom 5 nm SoC with dedicated AI cores for real-time processing.

E — Blue-light lenses. Clear lenses with 99.9% UV protection and blue-light filtering.

05Companion app

View your progress, every time.

A companion app keeps the record: the connected glasses, calories against a daily goal, the muscles trained today, heart rate and distance, a weekly training schedule, and shortcuts into the workout log, goals and progress.

06Landing page

Built to be scrolled.

I designed and built CLEO’s landing page in Next.js and shipped it on Vercel. Framer Motion and GSAP ScrollTrigger drive a scroll-scrubbed frame sequence of the glasses assembling, which hands off to the features, the four POV views, the app and the spec sheet.
